Caitlin’s Haiku – Feedback Requested

Harvest moon whispers
Summer bids you sweet Adieu
Fall leaves light your nights
– – – – –
This haiku has been written for my daughter, Caitlin, whose favorite season is fall, a time when she can relax by a bonfire with friends.
Since she is intending to have my haiku tattooed onto her arm, I want to ask YOU if the haiku makes sense… I tried to choose words which could reflect all stages of life so that the lines will still be relevant when she’s 70 (a long, long time from now).
Please offer feedback, good, bad, suggested revisions – Some ink is forever. Thank you!
