A Not-So-Super Sunday

“Kaleidoscopic Day”

A light goes out,
As a sweetheart of a child
Loses his fight with cancer.
All who have ever met him
Grieves.

A rocket is launched,
Again,
By North Korea,
And Kim Jong-un stands alone,
Awaiting judgement.

A coin is flipped,
Two teams swap points
And a pigskin,
While nearly every American
Snacks and cheers.

I’ve always thought we turn a blind eye to the things that are important, i like how you show the important things, the scariest things imaginable, from war to cancer, and then its time for football. Well said.
